I SUPPORT YOU

At the heart of my therapeutic practice lie speech and listening, two fundamental pillars that guide my sessions towards a deep understanding of your experiences, emotions and needs. This empathic approach makes it possible to establish a space of trust and openness where you can move forward at your own pace.
I integrate into this foundation other therapeutic methods that seem aligned with your situation:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a recognised psychotherapeutic technique for treating post-traumatic stress disorder. Eye movements or other sensory stimuli are used while disturbing memories are recalled. This therapy allows past traumas to be treated and resolved, facilitating the digestion of memories and reducing their emotional impact. More information on EMDR online psychology.
  • Mindfulness is a powerful tool with beneficial effects on our well-being, our body awareness and our ability to fully live in the present moment. I often introduce moments of meditation and mindfulness exploration into my support to help you reconnect with the present moment, deepen your self-knowledge and welcome your inner experiences without resistance.
  • The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, an identity integration practice, is a fascinating approach. Each individual carries within them a complex world made up of several identities. These identities are not all aligned in terms of age or desires. One part of us may above all wish to protect itself, to feel safe. However, we also have another part within us that aspires to grow and to discover the world around us. The practice of identity integration consists of recognising and welcoming all these parts of ourselves. We work with these different identities, helping them to grow if necessary, to evolve and to regain a sense of safety.
  • Breathing and the use of the voice. When you face high levels of stress and anxiety, it is beneficial to explore your way of breathing. Sometimes breath re-education is necessary in order to support the nervous system. Also, your voice is closely linked to your nervous system and your emotions. By working on voice modulation, we can release emotional tension, express our needs and strengthen our self-confidence. These techniques create a powerful therapeutic space.

MY APPROACH

A warm and safe setting

I am committed to offering you a space of trust and a warm environment so that you can open up at your own pace.
I am aware of the sacred and vulnerable nature of a therapeutic relationship, and I commit to preserving this trust by maintaining the quality of my presence and strictly respecting professional confidentiality.

A holistic practice, adapted to each person

My practice is guided by a holistic vision of psychology, which consists of taking the whole Being into account. Thus, my approach to the human Being takes into account their physical, mental, emotional, family, social, cultural and spiritual dimensions. I believe that we all possess an extraordinary potential for healing and personal growth, and my mission is to accompany you on your own path, gently and at your own pace.

A passionate and committed approach

Passionate about therapy and its practice, I continually update my knowledge through training and by nourishing my personal practice, in order to offer you quality therapeutic support. The maturity, knowledge and experience that result from inner work cannot be compared to knowledge acquired in books. My support is therefore greatly inspired and guided by what I have learned.

My specialities

Initially driven by a passion for the psychology of infants, children, adolescents and family dynamics, my experiences gradually led me towards expertise trained and specialised in supporting various areas:

  • Female and male sexuality
  • Sexual trauma such as abuse and incest
  • Anxiety, phobias and stress
  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress

What is trauma?

Trauma manifests when the emotions associated with an event or situation overwhelm a person and leave lasting imprints on their psyche. When traumas occur, the brain can sometimes struggle to fully integrate them, creating traces in memory that can be reactivated by everyday events. Therapy thus proves to be crucial support for understanding, accompanying and overcoming suffering linked to post-traumatic stress, including intrusive images, persistent thoughts, persistent anxiety, unpleasant physical reactions and associated emotional imbalances.

Support around sexuality

In the field of sexuality, I pay particular attention to fostering a delicate exploration of past traumas, your personal journey and the impact of these experiences on the difficulties you face. Sexual disorders can take different forms, including pain during intercourse, a lack of interest or sexual desire, difficulties related to arousal or orgasm, or challenges in establishing intimate relationships, among others.

masterclass online psychology benedicte donet

Whatever the origins of your difficulties, known or buried, we undertake together a sensitive and caring exploration of your story, addressing the psychological and psychosomatic dimensions of the disorders you are experiencing. My interest in the delicate exploration of sexuality, often surrounded by taboos and mysteries, deeply motivates me. In the family, educational and social context, there is undeniably a significant lack of education and transmission around sexuality.

My desire is to guide each individual on a path of reconnection with this fundamental sphere of their existence. My specialisation lies in supporting survivors of sexual trauma such as rape, incest and abuse. I am here to offer you support as you explore the psychological consequences arising from these experiences. After working on resolving trauma, it becomes possible to rediscover pleasure by drawing on approaches from mindfulness and the psychology of sexuality. My deep commitment is to create a path towards emotional healing and personal fulfilment for each individual I support.

Anxiety, stress and phobias

I am here to support you with kindness and expertise through the challenges of anxiety, stress and phobias that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
These are natural states that we all encounter at some point in our lives. I believe in the importance of deeply understanding the origins and patterns that fuel them. By exploring your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, we will work hand in hand to identify triggers and the underlying mechanisms of these states.

We will explore techniques based on mindfulness and relaxation to support you in daily life. To this, I add deep work around trauma. Together, we will gradually address the situations that trigger your phobias. The goal is to allow you to feel more control and confidence in situations that were once sources of anxiety.
The psychotherapeutic work we undertake together aims not only to reduce symptoms, but also to help you develop a deep understanding of yourself and your emotions.
